We all want that bikini body, but let's face it - after working out like crazy for a few weeks or even days straight, you can get sick of your routine or bored with it. I like to shake things up a bit to avoid this, so I thought I'd share some tips with you guys!
I like to try different fitness classes, because I don't like to do the same thing every day, I get bored way too easily. So I try to do different things, like a Zumba class or another dance type class, a step class maybe, a kickboxing class, etc. So go to a fitness studio or even a dance studio and sign up for some classes, and you'll definitely be more likely to work out more and not get lazy with it. Especially if your friends sign up, too! No one likes to look flaky, so if your friend says "Are you still going to the class tonight?" you will be more likely to go just because your friend is going. Also it's more fun to work out with friends! Sometimes it irks me, usually only when I lift weights because when doing that stuff I like to go at my own pace, but with classes or cardio, I love having someone with me, it keeps me going.
Music has a BIG influence on us when we work out, I think everyone can agree. Studies have been done, and having music playing can influence your performance while working out. I definitely notice that when I play music I can work out longer, because I'm distracted by the music and I don't realize how long I have been running or doing whatever fitness activity I was doing. Also, it's good to have new music playing once in a while. When I have the same songs playing after a while, I get bored and don't get as pumped. Once in a while, be sure to update your music library, look up some new pop or hip hop songs and try to widen your range of music interest. Ask friends what songs they have that pump them up, or Google some workout playlists! It'll make a big difference when you have lots of good songs to choose from.
Go outside! Summer is the time to have fun and do outdoor activities, like volleyball, walking with friends, gardening, mowing the lawn, basketball, playing at the park, anything you can imagine. So instead of staying inside (even though air conditioning is an amazing invention) go outside and get some sun! Be social, try new things, sometimes you won't even think you're doing something related to fitness, but you are. Those activities I think are the best kind because it's easier to burn calories when you're not focused on the activity or the calorie burning.
If you guys have your own specific tips or activities you want to share, or your own workout playlist, share them!
Songs that keep me going when I'm out running:
1. I Like It - Enrique Iglesias
2. Tonight I'm Loving You - Enrique Iglesias
3. Give a Little - Hanson
4. Livin on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
5. La Tortura - Shakira
6. Ridin' Solo - Jason Derulo
7. Do You Wanna Touch - Glee Version of the Joan Jett Song
8. Number One - Nelly
9. On To The Next One - JayZ
10. Ordinary - Train
And just remember, a bikini body is not a size 0 only. A bikini body is when you feel so confident in your body that you're comfortable enough to be in a bathing suit! I don't care that I don't weight 100 pounds, I love having curves! So embrace your body regardless of size, weight, etc. You all have something special about you that makes you different, and those are the things I love about people. I like uniqueness. :) So go out there, do some new fitness activities, and find that bathing suit that you feel fabulous in! If you want, I could do a video or blog post about the bathing suit that would work for certain body types. Let me know! Love you guys!

Little Tip when Shopping for Makeup
Before you pass up those products that say "For Blue Eyes" or "For Green Eyes" just because that isn't your eye color, check it out anyway! Sometimes the colors are still absolutely gorgeous, but we walk right by because we feel like frauds if we purchase them. I had an order from eBay that came with a ton of products and the Almay Intense iColor trio for blue eyes came with it, and I tried it out and honestly, it really complimented my green eyes! You never know, so if you like the colors in a product, buy it! Who cares if it was meant for blue, green, hazel, or brown eyes? If you like something, go for it! I did a tutorial with this trio, and even though I don't have blue eyes, I think it's well worth your time to watch because this trio probably compliments any eye color, and they do come in other colors meant for other eye colors, this is just the first one I have, and I'm thinking about doing a series for other eye colors too. Let me know if this is a good idea!

My favorite ELF Brushes
ELF is such a great website, I hope everyone has checked it out or will check it out, because their products are incredible! Almost all of their products are either $1, $3, or $5. Can you seriously beat those deals? I just wanted to share my opinions about some of their brushes, because the more I shop for brushes, the more I feel they are way overpriced. However, ELF has so many high quality ones that are very cheap. So here we go!
1. Studio Line Stipple Brush - This brush is $3, but let me tell you it is worth it. I have a brush from Face Secrets that looks almost identical to this brush and yet that brush was over $10. This brush is so incredibly soft, and it looks so professional and sleek, it's great to add to your brush collection. I use stipple brushes for foundation, but I also use them for blush sometimes because they are so soft and the product just glides across your skin.
2. Essentials Total Face Brush - First of all, this brush is $1! One. Dollar. Yeah, I said it! Not only is this brush also super soft, but it's huge! I love it for putting on all over bronzer because it's so fluffy and it's not going to leave streaks or big heaps of bronzer on parts of your face. It's also great for powders, like it says, it's an all over brush, and it's very versatile. It is in their essentials line, so it has a white/silverish handle, and the bristles are black/red, but they still look very professional! I definitely recommend having at least one of these brushes in your collection because you can use it for so many things.
3. Essentials Blushing, Bronzing, and Blending Brush - As you can tell, this brush is so useful and can be a very necessary tool to have in your collection. It's perfect for highlighters and blushes because it's an angled brush, I love to use it to put highlighter on my cheekbones and blend it up toward my temple, and it blends the product perfectly. Also, since it is an essentials brush it is only $1. You could buy this one brush instead of buying 3 separate brushes. I think it's a great deal!
4. Essentials Blending Eye Brush - For also only a dollar, this brush is a necessity for sure. When doing looks that have a different color for your crease, you want a brush like this that can blend out that crease color and even blend that line in between the 2 colors. It's such a soft brush, too, it spreads the product out perfectly.
5. Studio Eyeshadow "C" Brush - This amazingly soft brush is $3, but I think it's worth those couple bucks. The regular essentials eyeshadow brush is amazing too, but I think spending the extra two dollars on a studio brush is well worth it. I have both, and this brush is significantly softer, and I find that the eyeshadow goes on much smoother, and it just glides on. This is also all black, so it looks very sleek. I'm sure you could pass this brush off for a high end eyeshadow brush.
So I hope you guys check these brushes out before you go out and buy a super expensive brush set, because they are well worth it. Feel free to leave any comments with your own opinions, or suggestions on future posts.

Sally Beauty Haul & Celebrity Inspirations
So I went to Sally Beauty Supply and picked up a few things I wanted to share - I'll probably do some reviews later once I try these out.
1. 2 Insta-Dri fast dry nail color in Expresso170 and in Fast Lane Fuchsia 03. These colors are not only gorgeous but they really do take a long time to start chipping. I'll try them a few more times before I do reviews, but what I love about these are the brushes, they are more precise than the rounded nail polish brushes that usually come with a nail polish.
2. 2 Diamond Strength no chip nail colors in Nude Shimmer 65 and Fairy Tale Ivory 02. I have yet to try these but I'll let you know what I think!
3. A mini Sally Girl nail polish that doesn't have a name but it is a red/orange color, it looked more pink in the bottle, so I'm a little disappointed, but at least it was a mini!
4. 4 Sally Girl Eyeshadows in Lilac, Burgandy, Midnight, and Purple Haze. These colors all make green eyes pop! They're only 88 cents, too! And when you look at the eyeshadow and compare them to other eyeshadows, I think they are either the same size or even bigger. Compare the prices and you'll wonder why you don't have these eyeshadows in every color! They're very pigmented and they have gorgeous colors. You can even hook them together to create your own trio, quad, duo, whatever you want!
5. 1 Diamond 12 Hour Lip treatment in Brilliant 6698-50. This color is a bright pink that still doesn't look quite too bold, you can probably wear it with any look. It stays smooth all day long with minimal touch ups.
----Please share any of your own hauls! These products can be found at Sally Beauty Supply stores.
Celeb Inspirations!
Whenever I look at magazines or watch TV I automatically look at peoples styles, makeup, etc. I have quite a few inspirations for my makeup, as I am always trying new looks, but these are a few ladies who I think have such a great style and look that are definitely worth trying to mimic. :)
1. Katy Perry - I LOVE this chick. Her eyes always look so big because she revvs up her eyelashes and uses bright colors. I also love the glow that she always has, whether it be a bronze glow that looks super natural or her highlighted glow that works perfectly with her fair skin (when she has fair skin in the winter). She has so much confidence and she is such a great role model, she wears what she wants when she wants, but she still always looks classy and chic.
2. Mila Kunis - I love how dramatic her eyes look all the time. She looks amazing with a smokey eye, and her lips always look plump and full but still look so natural. Also, her eyebrows are always perfectly sculpted and gorgeous. She is the perfect inspiration for when you want to look sexy without doing a too-sexy 'Playboy' type of look.
3. Natalie Portman - Also loooove her, she always looks flawless and natural, while still looking so pretty and gorgeous. She sometimes does a bright lip and more natural eye makeup, but I love that look and I love that about her. She doesn't need bright makeup to show that she is amazingly gorgeous. She carries herself so well and her look is so timeless.
4. Blake Lively - Always looking young and fresh, she has the perfect look for when you're going on a date and you want to look natural but still make that guy go weak in the knees. Her look is jaw-dropping, but not because she covers her face in dramatic makeup, but because she looks so natural, but so amazing at the same time. I would definitely look up pictures of her when doing my makeup before a first date.
So those are my inspirations, please share any of your own or opinions about mine! And keep checking in for more posts! And give any suggestions on future posts.

5 Makeup Must-Haves!
I was asked this question on my youtube channel, and I could not choose just one item, so I decided to make it 5 Makeup Must-Haves. I think every girl needs these items in her collection, regardless of what brand you choose.
1. A waterproof volumizing or lengthening mascara. Whenever it's one of those days where I don't want to do the full on makeup routine, I always make sure to have mascara on, waterproof usually because the only times I don't do full makeup is when I go to the gym, and no one likes raccoon, sweaty eyes. But I also don't like to go to the gym looking dead and tired, and just putting a coat or two of mascara on my upper lashes makes a big difference. Be sure to put it on the top lashes only, because it makes your eyes look more open. There are two mascaras I want to recommend because they are cheap but very effective.
1. Wet n Wild Waterproof Megalength Mascara. This mascara is so amazing, I love the brush because it combs through every lash, and I have never had clumpy lashes when using this. I think it is only $2 or somewhere around there, which is incredible when you look at other mascaras that are not as effective. A coat or two of this and your eyes will be popping, even if you aren't wearing any other makeup. And if you are, this mascara is a great addition to a look, it just makes your eyes look that much more dramatic and flirty.
2. NYC Sky Rise Lengthening Mascara. This one, also around the $2 price range, is a perfect lengthening mascara. The brush is great, and also combs through every lash without clumping any together. And it makes my lashes look super long! I love it, and I always sweep it on when I'm going somewhere but don't have time to do a full look.
2. A moisturizing lip balm. Before putting lip gloss or lipstick on, I always like to put a balm on to make sure my lips are smooth and hydrated. When I am not putting lipgloss or lipstick on because there is no need, I still make sure to put lip balm on to keep my lips protected from sun exposure, and just to keep them smooth. I like to use either Blistex's Deep Renewal lip balm or Nivea's Kiss of Smoothness lip balm. Both of these have evened out my lips and reduced any lines I had. I've always had problems finding a good lip balm that hydrates my dry lips. But these two have both changed that, now my lips are wonderful and smooth. And they are only a few bucks! A girl should always carry lip balm around.
3. A perfecting, effective primer. When putting on makeup, I always look for products with a lasting effect because no one wants to go back during the day and reapply everything. A primer is necessary for those who have busy days. Also, I like when a primer smoothes everything out and evens out the skin. The two primers I have seen do this are the Sephora base primer, and the Laura Mercier foundation primer. They work so well throughout the day, and I have busy days. Also, when I put them on, I can tell that my face is a lot more even and I don't have to worry about my foundation fixing all those discolorations. The Laura Mercier one goes on clear, it's like a lotion, but I can still see a difference in my skin tone. The Sephora one has a tint to it, it almost feels like a tinted moisturizer. It says "sheer glow" on the bottle and it does kind of do that, not that it matters much because your foundation covers it up. But they both have great staying power and are not all that expensive. Both of these can be found at Sephora.
4. A hydrating nude/pinkish lipgloss/lipstick. Depending on your preference (I prefer lipstick) I think every girl should have a lip product handy no matter where you are. Adding some color to your lips can completely change a look, and it's nice to pop some color onto your lips throughout the day. I remember in high school I did not wear too much makeup in my early years, but adding a little color on my lips made such a difference. I think it is also necessary to have a hydrating lipstick or gloss, because no one likes lip products that don't go on nice and smooth. They should also have good lasting power. I think the first necessary color is a nude color or a light pinkish color. They go with almost any look, and they don't look as dramatic as a deep berry color. My favorite for lip gloss is the Prestige Wonderfull Lip Plumping Gloss in Dainty and Chic. They are both nude but add some pink and also have some shimmer. They're perfect for those days when you need a quick swipe of gloss. For lipstick, I prefer NYX Round Lipsticks in Summer Love and Frosted Beige. They have what I call "frosting" as opposed to shimmer. There isn't any glitter, but there is still that shine that is just gorgeous. And these two colors are heavenly, they are nude with hints of pink, which goes with so many looks it's ridiculous. The Prestige Lipglosses can be found here, and the NYX Lipsticks can be found here.
5. A lightweight foundation that still has good coverage. I'll be the first to admit that when I have foundation on I just feel 10x better than without it. It evens out your skin and covers up blemishes, and if you choose correctly, it lasts almost all day. Every girl wants to feel fresh and natural, though, so there needs to be a foundation that... well... doesn't look like a foundation! The Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup collection is my favorite by far. It feels like I don't have anything on, but it still gives me medium to full coverage. The one that I bought from Walmart was around $10 which is cheap when it comes to foundations, especially for one that is so good. When I'm going out and just need to even out my skin quickly, I grab a foundation brush and put it all over my face, but it doesn't take long at all because it has such good coverage! I love it so much.

Avon Total Radiance Review
Avon has a skincare line called Total Radiance - it is one of their "solutions" lines. I wanted to review these products for you because I know a lot of you are looking for skincare products that will even out your skintone for the summer, and these do just that! After using these, foundation will almost be unnecessary. These products are meant for "normal skin" but I can tell you I do not have normal skin, and these products work for me.
In order of use... these are the products!
1. Total Radiance Day and Night Cleanser - This cleanser - only $8.00 - is perfect for those who need a lightweight gel cleanser to not only remove makeup and oil, but also even out skintone. This product has made my skin appear more bright and radiant and I love it! I have had a hard time finding a facial cleanser that removes all of my makeup, and this cleanser does just that. Every morning and night, just wash with this cleanser and pat dry. This product is also nice because typically when I wash my face in the morning, my face is dry for the rest of the day (in the wintertime usually) but with this cleanser, I can wash my face in the morning and my face has the perfect amount of moisture. (With the help of the other products of course)
2. Total Radiance Day Lotion - This lotion is only $13.00 and it is very worth the price. Here is a description from the Avon site: This light, oil-free lotion contains a unique light-activated delivery system that releases a cosmetic ingredient as the exposure to light increases. It enhances skin radiance and improves texture, tone and clarity. Leaves skin that looks beautifully healthier and radiant. Helps prevent sunburn. 4 fl. oz. It really does what it says it will do. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated, but not too oily. After using it for some time, I started to see that my skin was more even and more radiant, and that's perfect for summertime when I really don't feel like wearing heavy foundation.
OR
Total Radiance Night Cream - At nighttime, use this night cream, also $13.00. It is also lightweight and moisturizing, and you go to sleep feeling refreshed and clean. It is also a decent sized product for its price, and it enhances your skin's brightness.
3. Total Radiance Eye Gel - Only $12.50, this eye gel is perfect if you want to make your eyes look more awake and reduce discoloration. It reduces the appearance of dark circles and undereye bags, which I know a lot of women have issues with, including myself. I use my ring finger to apply the gel, and I simply pat it around my eye area. I think this is a better method than just rubbing it in because if you pat it into the specific places you want to be effected, you get more control by using the ring finger.
These products are so great for this time of year because if used correctly, by summertime your skin can be even-toned and radiant, which is great for those of you who don't like to put a lot of face products on during the summer. I prefer to not use a lot of heavy foundation during the summer, I'd rather just have my natural skin out, and these products allow me to do that. So follow these links to find out more, or purchase them! Post any comments with questions, suggestions, or reviews of your own.
Avon Total Radiance Solutions Line

Tips to Keep Face Clean and Healthy
When doing your makeup every day, bacteria can build up anywhere. I'm going to give you guys a few simple tips on how to avoid spreading bacteria and avoid future breakouts on your face. I might make a video for this on my youtube channel, and if I do I will link it.
1. Always clean your brushes from time to time. After doing your makeup every day, you can imagine how much buildup occurs on a brush just from one use. Not only does cleaning your brushes keep them clean so that they don't spread bacteria onto your face, but that also keeps them fresh for new application, because sometimes when applying makeup, there is leftover product on the brush, and that can really affect the look you are trying to pull off. I use Face Secrets Professional Brush Cleaner, and I bought it at a Sally Beauty Supply store, and online it is only $5.49, which is not that bad at all for an effective, good quality brush cleaner. A cheaper alternative is the ELF brush shampoo or daily brush cleaner. They are both $3 and both are just as effective as the Face Secrets cleaner. I'll leave a link below for all cleaners mentioned. I would always have a bottle handy, and I usually wash mine every few days, sometimes more frequently.
Face Secrets Professional Brush Cleaner $5.49ELF Brush Shampoo $3.00
ELF Daily Brush Cleaner $3.00
2. Keep wipes or hand sanitizer handy. Like I said before, bacteria can spread so quickly, and when you think of everything that you touch throughout the day and who has touched that also, you don't want all that to be touching your face, which is essentially what happens if you don't clean your hands. I always keep sanitizer and wipes handy, and I use them before and after I apply makeup. Before, obviously because I want my hands to be clean when touching my face, but after as well to be sure that I won't be getting other things dirty like my clothes, after putting on foundation or anything like that. I bought both my wipes and hand sanitizer at the Dollar Store, but you can find these products anywhere.
3. Wipe down products from time to time. Not just brushes, but I recommend wiping down your actual products sometimes. When you touch anything, you're spreading germs (I know I sound nuts, but it's true!) so you don't want to just focus on brushes, but I would wipe down your actual products because when you think about it, that product was touched by others in the store, and especially if it is some product that you carry in your purse, like a lip gloss or something. Just go through your collection maybe once a month or so, and wipe everything down. It is fun in my opinion to go through your stuff just to see what you have acquired!
4. Choose products wisely. When buying products, specifically eyeliner, you want to choose a product that will be fresh every use, if possible. Of course this is not possible with some products like foundation or powder, and that is where clean brushes come in. But with eyeliner, I have a suggestion. I prefer to buy the pencil eyeliner that can be sharpened as opposed to the eyeliner that is automatic or can be winded up. A great example of this is the ELF Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil. It comes with its own sharpener on the cap! I think that is just genius. You can sharpen it with every use instead of using the same tip that with automatic eyeliners, is usually not pointed, and isn't possible to clean and have a fresh, new application. The ELF eyeliner is also only $1! You get the product and a sharpener for just a buck! Seriously? I don't think you need anymore convincing than that. Of course some automatic eyeliners are good products, I'm just suggesting a cleaner option. The ELF pencil also comes in so many pretty shades! NYX also has a two-in-one sharpener that works with regular sized pencils and jumbo pencils! It is $4.00, and a great deal.
ELF Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil $1.00
NYX Sharpener $4.00
So those are just a few tips to keep bacteria off your face or products, and a few products that can help you do that! Throw any suggestions my way for future blogs or videos! Or leave any of your own tips, tricks, or favorite products that help with this topic.

Cheap Makeup at Good Quality!
I know I am not the only girl out there looking for makeup that doesn't empty my wallet but still gives me the same gorgeous looks I see in the magazines. Even drugstore makeup is getting ridiculously expensive! Girls everywhere need to band together and find and share makeup sites or stores that help us with this problem. I know that everyone has a different budget and a different meaning for "cheap" but I think we can all agree on a few sites, so please share!
These are a few of my favorites, and feel free to comment and share opinions!
http://www.cherryculture.com/ - They sell so many different brands of makeup that I have never heard of, but am now obsessed with! Everything is so inexpensive, and you get free shipping if you spend $40, and trust me, it will be VERY easy to spend that much, not because the products are expensive, but because you will just fall in love with everything! They even have NYX and Milani, which are two brands that are cheap to begin with but are also comparable to high end brands.
http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ - I know this site is well known, but I still want to get the word out there about ELF. Their products are all either $1, $3, or $5. That, to me, is incredible! And the $3 products are studio line products, and the $5 products are mineral! So you get good quality products for I'd say over half the price of drugstore products and certainly of high end products. You even get a free gift if you refer friends! They always have special deals going on, so you never pay full price for everything. They always have a free shipping deal if you spend so much money, usually $25. Go visit and shop!
http://www.jordana.com/ - This is one of the brands on Cherry Culture but I wanted to single them out because I love them so much! A lot of their products (almost all) are $1.99, which is AMAZING compared to others. Especially with the quality of the products. I would go to Cherry Culture first just to check if their products are on sale for even less, but still, check here for products not offered on Cherry Culture.
If you have any suggestions for future blogs please let me know! I am just getting started in beauty&fashion blogging and hopefully starting a youtube channel soon, so please give me any advice or suggestions you may be thinking of.
P.S. All of my posts will always be my own opinions. I was not paid or gifted to mention these sites.
